corona symphony orchestra and the young americans {corona event photographer}

had the pleasure of photographing the Holiday Spectacular this past weekend at Santiago High School. The Young Americans teamed up with the Corona Symphony Pops featuring the local youth of the Corona Norco USD to pull off a energizing performance to kick off the holiday season! I could feel the energy when coming into the concert!

A jazz hands post is always in order. Especially with a young group of AWESOME performers!

The fabulously talented Walt Straiton conducting the beautifully composed music.

My favorite part of the concert was the Santas sneaking in with flashlights. Too funny!

And of course the audience participation part was loads of fun. Juliet loved watching all the dads try to dance.

The energy from the kids is outstanding. I am definitely going to sign my kiddos up for the Young Americans program. There was a mom I spoke to after the concert ended and we shared thoughts on the energy that the kids poured out while performing. She let me know how her daughter was very shy and now she is seeing a new kid brought out by the music and singing. I danced for 14 years and could relate to the way it can make you feel when up on stage. It’s a positive thing for the kids to have positive, music influences in their young lives.

and the tear jerker at the end. She sang like an angel.
