adorable lovely couple. a ring and a hanger. {inland empire wedding photography}

I am super excited to share this e-session with you all! We got to shoot it at Chino Airport in Chino, California. It has amazing, endless possiblities of shooting spots and the light, ahhhh, the light……it made me giddy. But you have to know someone to get through the gate. And luckily my friend/bride-to-be/little sister whom I have known since she was a mere 18-years-old got us in for her special engagement session. She was our first babysitter. Our first and only sitter to brave coming to Minnesota with us and the one that stays on top of our kids, us and well, the house. But she’s moved on, finding a career in teaching and a love for a great guy. Stephanie, it’s been a pleasure watching you grow up!

Steph and I always talked about the day she would too get married and have kids. (She even fits perfectly in my wedding dress but alas found a phenomenal one for her special day) And now it’s happening, this August. And the guy she found is amazing. Cary, you are one lucky guy to have her and she’s lucky to have you too! You can see the love in these photos. And I must say, that with all that went into place for just the engagement session and both of your huge zest for life, I can’t wait to see what happens on your wedding day and then for your lives together!
Love you both! Thanks for letting me share this day with you!

Can’t wait to take photos of where you met, to wrap up your engagements! And of course, to take photos on your wedding day in August. Love, Bridget

Annette Hoegner - I love the way you shot this engagement shoot! You have a great talent!

the closest we get to clover.

Juliet received a hand-me-down ride-on *pink* scooter. And she loves it. And last fall once examining it after placing Juliet on it over and over, I realized that it says “Clover” on it. I have a fellow flickr friend, Rachel Devine and I have known online for well over 5 years now and she has these adorable boy/girl twins (and of course the famous Gemma) and her girl twin is named Clover. (I adore this name!!!).

I let Rachel know about the cute scooter and promised some pics. At the rate I have been going with day-to-day personal editing, it’s been a slow go. But hey Rachel, they are up finally. 🙂 And we think of you and your precious babies, especially Clover everytime we play outside and ride the scooter. Maybe someday all our kids will have a playdate.

As a sidenote, check out Rachel and Peta Mazey’s new brilliantly blogged photo advice blog. For all you parents wanting to get better at your own personal photos it’s a must to read through and join in! Beyond Snapshots.

Played with the lensbaby. I am pretty fresh at having this kind of photo taking skills, so don’t make fun.

family. together. loving. {leading inland empire, corona photographer}

Finally we carved some time away to take Lestia and Walt’s family photos. This mega talented family has so much going on! Between baseball, school activities, preparing for a marathon, directing and running the local Corona Symphony Orchestra is no big task for them. It’s part of their daily lives. They do it with grace and poise and always, always, have a welcoming heart to all those that want to pop in to visit at their busy household.

We spent some family together time in South Corona in a beautiful spot amongst all the growing green grass. And they were together and as always a loving and sweet family. And I adore their wholesome goodness and their willingness to be silly.

Thanks you guys for going out and doing this shoot! I have some fun ideas in store for your next session!

our beach. it’s where we hang. {orange county photographer}

I haven’t been on my blog for 2 WHOLE months.  “Why?” You might ask.  I have been busy.  4 kids kinda busy.  Life busy.  And some shooting stuff busy.  I had two full days shooting at the Mission Viejo Janie and Jack store (which was hard to do because I wanted to buy EVERYTHING for my baby girl while there).  I photographed about 30 families and it was hard work.  Kudos to those that do studio work and nail it.  Smiles and all.  I also just photographed the Corona Symphony Pops backing the amazing saxaphonist Warren Hill. The beautiful Jessy J opened for them and she rocked it too.  The concert at the Fox Theater in Riverside was ahhh-ma-zing.  I also have had a couple family shoots and an engagement session to feature and those photos will all be debuting thru this week.

So, I am back. And I missed you. I hope you missed me.

Here’s a quick comparision of last year at our beach to now.  Quite a difference a year makes!

and just a little over a week ago…

Natalie Cole with Corona Symphony Pops at Fox Performing Arts Center, Riverside, CA

I am fortunate to be able to photograph some amazing artists being the official photographer for theCorona Symphony Orchestra. The Corona Symphony Pops backed Natalie Cole on February 13th at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside, California and it was AWESOME! I got to go backstage and watch the rehearsal as well as capture different elements of the theater and the players.

There was a full house at the newly renovated Fox Performing Arts Centerand Natalie was an amazing performer. She had everyone in the audience oooing and ahhing and singing along. I loved the opening number and “Smile”. The Corona Symphony Pops is no longer the best kept secret in Corona because their performance was top notch and sounded brilliant!

The Fox Theater has some rich history and one event, which I love, is that it’s the first theater to showcase “Gone with the Wind”. The archetecture and decor is stunning and makes for incredible photographs. The accustics in the theater made the show sound beautiful!
